How can I pair my Nuance Audio™ Plus with the App?

If you are pairing to the App for the first time:

1. Download the Nuance Audio™ App; for details, please check the FAQ "How can I download the Nuance Audio App?"
2. After downloading and opening the Nuance Audio™ App, sign up or log in to your Nuance account and follow the on-screen instructions
3. Enter pairing mode by moving "Slide On" button forward until the blue LED blinks
4. Allow Bluetooth permission (press "Allow")
5. Start pairing (press "Start")
6. Select Nuance Audio™ Plus (press "Pair")
7. Allow Bluetooth pairing (press "Pair")

If you are re-pairing your Glasses or if you are pairing a second pair of Glasses on the same account:
1. Open the Nuance Audio™ App on your mobile device
2. Tap the Menu icon in the bottom-right corner of the Home page
3. Tap the top black banner "Glasses" to add a new pair of Glasses
4. Press "Add new device"
5. Press and hold either the "+" or "−" button on the Glasses for 8 seconds until the blue LED starts blinking
6. Select your Nuance Audio™ Plus from the list of available devices
7. Tap "Pair" to complete the pairing process

Can I have more than one pair of Nuance Audio™ Plus linked to the same mobile App?

Yes, you can manage up to 4 different pairs of Nuance Audio™ Plus within the same mobile App. However, please note the following:

•    Active Pair: The App will only control one pair of Nuance Audio™ Plus at a time, designated as the “active” pair.
•    Settings Management: The configurations from one paired set of Glasses will not automatically transfer to others. Therefore, when switching between pairs, you may need to check and adjust the settings manually.

•    Adding New Glasses:
          •    Open the Nuance Audio™ App on your mobile device
          •    Tap the Menu icon in the bottom-right corner of the Home page
          •    Tap the top black banner "Glasses" to add a new pair of Glasses
          •    Press "Add new device"
          •    Press and hold either the "+" or "−" button on the Glasses for 8 seconds until the blue LED starts blinking
          •    Tap "Pair" to complete the pairing process

What if I change my smartphone?

No problem. Please follow the instructions below:
 
If your new phone is Android:
 
• Proceed with the Pairing on your new smartphone
 
If your new phone is iOS:
 
• Perform the “Forget these Glasses” procedure on the old smartphone "How can I remove a pair of Nuance Audio™ Plus from my mobile App?”; if you are not able to perform this activity, for instance because your old phone is broken, it is recommended to reach out to the Customer Service to ask for support in performing the “Forget these Glasses” procedure.
• Then, proceed with the Pairing on your new smartphone "How can I pair my Nuance Audio™ Plus to the App?”

How can I add a new pair of Nuance Audio™ Plus to my mobile App?

To add a new pair of Nuance Audio™ Plus to the Nuance Audio™ App:

1. Open the Nuance Audio™ App
2. Tap the Menu icon in the bottom-right corner of the Home page
3. Tap the top black banner "Glasses" to add a new pair of Glasses
4. Press "Add New Device"
5. Press and hold either the "+" or "−" button on the Glasses for 8 seconds until the blue LED starts blinking
6. Select your Nuance Audio™ Plus from the list of available devices
7. Tap "Pair" to complete the pairing process

How can I remove a pair of Nuance Audio™ Plus from my mobile App?

To remove a pair of Nuance Audio™ Plus from the Nuance Audio™ App:

1. Open the Nuance Audio™ App on your mobile device
2. Tap the Menu icon in the bottom-right corner of the Home page
3. Select "My Glasses"
4. At the bottom of the page, tap "Forget These Glasses"

Please note that after completing the "Forget These Glasses" process, you must wait 1 minute before turning the Glasses on again.

To complete the removal process, delete the Bluetooth pairing from your smartphone.

Android:
1. Open Settings > Connected Devices (or Connections)
2. Locate the device you want to remove
3. Tap the gear icon or menu next to the device name
4. Select "Forget" or "Unpair"
5. Confirm your choice if prompted

iPhone:
1. Open Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices and tap "Forget Device"
2. Open Settings > Bluetooth
3. Under "My Devices", locate the device you want to remove
4.  Tap the information (i) icon next to the device name
5.  Select "Forget This Device" and confirm

Once these steps are completed, the Glasses will be removed from both the Nuance Audio App and your smartphone's Bluetooth settings.

Where can I find my Nuance Audio™ Plus product attributes?

To view your Nuance Audio™ Plus product attributes:

1. Open the Nuance Audio™ App
2. Click on the icon located at the bottom right of the home page ("Menu")
3. Select "My Glasses" to access detailed information, including the Serial Number, model, firmware version, and other relevant attributes of your Nuance Audio™ Plus device

How to factory reset my Nuance Audio™ Plus?

You can perform a factory reset in one of two ways:

1. Using the Nuance Audio™ App

• Open the Nuance Audio™ App on your mobile device
• Tap the Menu icon in the bottom-right corner of the Home page
• Select "My Glasses"
• At the bottom of the page, tap "Factory Reset"

2. Using the Glasses

• Press and hold the "+" and "−" buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds
• Release the buttons when the LED turns purple

Important Warning: 
Please note that performing a factory reset will restore the device to its original factory settings. 
This includes the following changes: original audio configuration, "Calibration", paired devices. Also, please be aware that after the factory reset operation is completed, it is necessary to wait for 1 minute before turning the Glasses on again.

How can I transfer my Nuance Audio™ Plus from one mobile phone to another?

To transfer my Nuance Audio™ Plus from one mobile phone to another:
1. Execute the "Forget Glasses" operation starting from the phone where Glasses are paired. Tap on the Menu icon at the bottom right of the app home page, tap on "My Glasses">  tap "Forget Glasses" button
2. To complete the removal process, delete the Bluetooth pairing from your smartphone.

Android:
1. Open Settings > Connected Devices (or Connections)

5. Confirm your choice if prompted

iPhone:
