How can I force restart my glasses?

If your Nuance Audio™ Plus becomes unresponsive and does not respond to user inputs, follow these steps:

Step 1: Restart the Glasses

• Turn the Glasses off using the power switch on the frame
• Wait a few seconds, then turn the Glasses back on

Step 2: Perform a factory reset

If restarting the Glasses does not resolve the issue, perform a factory reset.

How can I factory reset my glasses?

You can perform a factory reset in one of two ways:

1. Using the Nuance Audio™ App

• Open the Nuance Audio™ App on your mobile phone
• Tap the Menu icon in the bottom-right corner of the Home page
• Select ""My Glasses""
• Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap ""Factory Reset""

2. Using the Glasses

• Press and hold the ""+"" and ""−"" buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds
• Release the buttons when the LED turns purple

Important Warning: 
Please note that performing a factory reset will restore the device to its original factory settings. 
This includes the following changes: original audio configuration, ""Calibration"", paired devices. Also, please be aware that after the factory reset operation is completed, it is necessary to wait for 1 minute before turning the Glasses on again.

After the factory reset is complete, wait 1 minute before turning the Glasses on again.

After resetting your Glasses:

1. Remove the Glasses from the App

• Open the Nuance Audio™ App on your mobile phone
• Tap the Menu icon in the bottom-right corner of the Home page
• Select ""My Glasses""
• Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap ""Forget Glasses""
After completing this step, wait 1 minute before turning the Glasses on again.

2. Remove the Bluetooth pairing from your phone

3. Pair the Glasses again

For instructions, see: "How can I pair my Nuance Audio™ Plus with the App?"

4. Perform Calibration again

For instructions, see: "What is Calibration and what is it used for?"

5. Restore your preferred settings

This includes presets, Own Voice settings, and any other personalized configurations.

I have issues changing the Audio Mode by double-tapping the touch area on my Glasses. What can I do?

If you encounter difficulties in changing the Audio Mode by double-tapping the touch area you may try to:
- Verify shortcuts are enabled, for instructions on how to do this, refer to "What are shortcuts and how do I enable them?"
- Use two fingers or four fingers to perform the double-tap.
- Wait a couple seconds from one attempt to the other.
